Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of improving the volume or quality of traffic to a web site from search engines via "natural" or un-paid ("organic" or "algorithmic") search results as opposed to search engine marketing (SEM) which deals with paid inclusion. SEO may target different kinds of search, including image search, local search, video search and industry-specific vertical search engines. This gives a web site web presence.

Although most clients have an option to leave mail on server, e-mail clients using POP generally connect, retrieve all messages, store them on the user's PC as new messages, delete them from the server, and then disconnect. This would be an email account using Outlook or Outlook Express, for example.
A POP3 email account means you can promote you brand or company by having the domain name in the address- eg.info@spinweb.co.nz. It is considered more professional to have this versus the company@hotmail.com or company@xtra.co.nz. Why promote these companies? When we set you up with a POP3 email account we send you step by step instructions on how you can easily set this account up yourself on your computer.
In contrast, E-mail clients using IMAP generally leave messages on the server (like hotmail and gmail) until the user deletes them. This and other aspects of IMAP operation allow multiple clients to access the same mailbox, or access email from any computer- ie Webmail. Think internet cafes and hotel lobbies. Part of your POP3 account gives you the ability to use webmail too, so you can clear your messages when on holidays or on another computer.
